Air Bike - Commercial Grade
An air bike, also known as an assault bike or fan bike, is a type of stationary exercise bike that features a large fan wheel as its primary resistance mechanism. Unlike traditional stationary bikes with weighted flywheels, air bikes generate resistance through the movement of the fan blades against the air as you pedal.
The unique feature of air bikes is that the resistance increases exponentially the harder you pedal. This means that the more effort you put in, the more resistance you'll encounter, providing a challenging and effective workout for both the lower body and upper body.
Air bikes typically have handlebars that move back and forth, allowing you to engage your arms and upper body as you pedal. This makes them excellent for high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workouts, as you can alternate between periods of intense pedaling and rest or lower intensity periods.
Due to their versatility and ability to provide a full-body workout, air bikes have become popular in gyms, CrossFit boxes, and home gyms for cardiovascular conditioning, strength training, and calorie burning.
